St Luke's CE Primary School

Learning together, supporting each other, with God's love.

Pupils  »  Class Pages  »  Year 6

Week Beginning: 28.09.2020

We understand that there may be a number of reasons why it might be very difficult for any adult at home to support your child so we have provided a range of different learning within the weekly plans, including some online learning packages that your child is already familiar with as well as new resources that mirror some of the learning that will be happening in class that week.

Please see the below links.

Maths:

Please visit the link below. Here you will find 5 math’s lesson videos. Aim to do one a day. There are questions built into the videos and it may need to be intermittently paused in order to give your child time to complete the questions.

The lessons that have been chosen are separate to what we have been doing in class and so the children should not get confused with different teaching approaches

Topic activity

Have a go at producing something to show your learning about David Hockney. We have found out so much about him in school and I would love it if you could produce a powerpoint that you could email to me or create a poster (in homework book or plain paper) to showcase your learning. You could give some facts about him and his life and then you could show some examples of his work. I would love it if you could have a go at re-creating some of his work to make your work eye-catching and attractive.
