Making Pizza - January 2017
We had a wonderful time making pizza. First of all we sieved the flour to take out any lumps; we then mixed it into a dough and kneaded it until it went smooth and elastic. We added the toppings of our choice then had to wait until they were baked. They were very tasty.

We had a brilliant day last week learning about dinosaurs. A man brought all sorts of relics to school including leg bones, eggs, teeth and fossils of small animals. He also brought a model of the skull of a Tyrannosaurus Rex and a life sized footprint that was huge!
We made rubbings of some of the fossils and plaster casts of imprints that we made in coloured clay. We really enjoyed our day with the dinosaurs.

Making Gingerbread People - October 2016

We had fun last half term when we made gingerbread people. We mixed the dough, rolled it and cut it into shapes before decorating each biscuit and then baked them. We especially liked eating them with milk during our snack time. We made star shapes with the left over dough and were allowed to take these home afterwards.
